Inquiring minds want to know… hmmm… Who the heck is this girl? The one telling me the nitty gritty details of her lif, who paints EVERY SINGLE FRIGGIN’ that stands still, and why does she get SOOO gaga over entertaining, cooking, getting a new pair of earrings and her 2 boys?
I am Pippa Goetz… and while I may NOT always get what I want, I AM the person behind the pictures on my Instagram WhatPippaWantsPippaGoetz and the Hand that holds the Brush for the majority of the details pretty things you see on my tables, in my home and more importantly in your homes. You may know me as the sometimes brash, hashtag obsessed, often eye rolling, martini shaking, DIYing and Crafty as F*CK crackpot who has had life-long dreams of taking over where Martha left off when she got all bitchy.
I am a mid(dish) 40’s mother of 2 boys who lives with my patient, quiet, spotlight avoiding and beyond brilliant Tech husband in a house we call ‘WITZEND’ in Southeastern PA (insert laundry list of necessary projects and renovations necessary thus the name). We have 2 crazy as hell rescue pups who make our world hairier but happier.
I consider myself blessed with a slew of survival skills including: being a recovering Event planner, a retired formally trained Chef and an ex-hippie (College was fun… let’s just leave it at that) who cranks up Sister Rosetta Tharpe as often as I do Snoop Dog. I am well trained in fabric and home décor hoarding, an ever struggling dirty fingernail sporting Gardener and in my 4th Career of my life I have found my passion – Painting.
I have a deep seeded love of style, couture and effortless chic but will confess to being guilty of spending my days in stretchy Skinnies, my husband’s old oxfords and converse. I have an untamed shopaholic streak but tend to only invest in shoes, bags and jewelry because let’s be real… they will still fit after a week of indulgence.
Like a Russian nesting doll, there is obviously more to me but let’s just say that we will leave things at the “elevator summary”. I hope that you enjoy this adventure as it means so much to me to have the pretties that I create in your homes, shown in their glory in your squares and perched on your mantles.
