| GO BOLD OR GO HOME |

I LOVE COLOR… there I said it… and this isn’t a low level love, like “I love my kid’s teacher” or “I love the Target Clearance Section” … we are talking a DEEP… wayyyyyy down thing… think on the level of how much Joannie Loved Chachi; Kanye Loves Kim K Kanye or, Homer loves Donuts… you get the picture… this is the REAL DEAL.

I think Mother Nature is right there with me on this one…. September is her time, throwing color around as if it were glitter at a rave… and it just so happens to mix perfectly with the lingering pink flowers in my planters and the Garden that I just cant bring myself to switch out yet and are dead hanging on by a thread.

SO… until I can officially stop wearing shorts, shaving my legs (any day now PLEASE) and can legit rely on pajama jeans and long sleeves, I am sticking with my bright grassy greens and bold pops of color. Plus it is just another chance to break out the Rose Medallion and Cabbageware for a bright bold Al Fresco dinner. Just ignore the fact that it was actually 90 degrees when I shot this table and my Tapers are melting… seriously.

Go Big, Go Bold or Go Home my sweet Friends.

| THE DAY HAS ARRIVED! |

YIKES! It’s HERE!!! After teasing my family, friends, my ever supportive IG family (and mostly myself) I have taken a leap of faith and FINALLY launched this blog.

I hope you will follow along for a potpourri of my entertaining adventures… You never know what you will get here… Heck, at this point I don’t even know yet… but with a little luck and a whole lot of patience, hopefully it will include insight into my attempts to be the hostess with the mostess, my excessive obsession with styling tables, entertaining an ever rotating list of guests, and having the time of our lives.

OR… it could be the low down on the latest of my ridiculous DIY projects that run the gamut from slipcovering, designing hand painted Charger Plates, rehabbing thrifted finds, fully redecorating our house (a.k.a. “Witzend”) one room at a time or, even throwing down a Pinterest-worthy craft for the #witzendweeone’s classrooms.

Maybe I will dabble in surprise posts of my favorite things, my favorite recipes or, it could just be my grocery list (and how I explain to the cashier why I need 12 gallons of Bleach).

One day you might find me gushing over my latest style inspirations, current trend obsessions, my visions of grandeur in the wide and wonderful world of home design, or you might just get a random drivel of my current pet peeves.

No matter why you are here, I am happy to have you… If you are following along with my IG account (you SHOULD be!) you know that I tend to be silly, ridiculous, hashtag obsessed and probably far too often reveal my love of wine, martinis, food, DIYing and my boys the (#witzendweeones).
